The Evangelical Christian Church's name stands out in history because it started out as a Bible-believing, faith movement that was referred to in North America as the Restoration Movement of the early 1800s that rock the foundations of the church. The founders of The ECC was Barton Stone and Alexander Campbell. They had been preaching at Cane Ridge and Concord in Kentucky about three years where the great camp-meetings were being held.
